Dr. Derek Morris, senior pastor at Forest Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church, is presenting Life-changing Encounters With God, a week of spiritual emphasis for the Florida Conference office staff and guests. MP3 audio downloads of this five-day series will be made available for download.

The Florida Conference communication department recently held a communication director and team training workshop this past weekend. Presentation topics included writing for publication and letters to editors, photography, pitching stories to public media, interviewing, as well as a track for audio engineers. MP3 audio downloads of all programs and resource downloads of selected topics are available from the communication department web site.

Josh McDowell, internationally known Christian speaker and author, will speak at all three church services of the Forest Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church, Saturday, January 28:

Adoration—8:45 a.m.
Praise—9:50 a.m.
Exaltation—11:30 a.m.

McDowell will also conduct a special free seminar for parents the same Saturday afternoon in the church sanctuary, 2:30-5:30 p.m.

Recorded archives will not be available, but all programs will be streamed live and accessible from the church’s web site.
