Disaster Preparedness Crisis Intervention Training
A two-day CISM training event from ICISF (International Critical Incident Stress Foundation) will be conducted June 16-17, 2005, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM at Florida Hospital Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2800 N. Orange Ave in Orlando, FL 32804
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This Individual/Peer Support CISM training has been developed for public safety personnel, clergy, mental health professionals, paramedics, firefighters, physicians, police officers, nurses, dispatchers, and disaster workers.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Stephanie A. Dill LCSW, CTS is a licensed clinical social worker and certified trauma specialist. Stephanie is an approved instructor through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF).

- The role of the individual crisis intervention at a time of disaster.
- Demonstration of selected crisis communication techniques.
- A protocol for individual crisis intervention and its role in comprehensive CISM.
- Review of common problems encountered while working with individuals in crisis.
