The Florida Conference family is shocked and saddened by the news of the death of Nostra Damas, a member of Maranatha French Seventh-day Adventist Mission Group in Lauderhill, which is part of the Florida Conference sisterhood of churches. According to the police report, Damas died in an accident that occurred early this morning while on his way to Tampa with other church members to attend a Haitian Convention.
Our hearts and prayers go out to all impacted by the accident this morning, especially the parents and family members of Nostra Damas. We also pray for the full health and recovery of those involved in the accident and transported to the hospital.
Any time there is pain, we hurt as well, and we pray for God’s healing to touch those in pain at this difficult time.
If you have any questions, you may direct them to Henoc Paulicin who is serving as spokesperson for the church and conference through this tragedy. In the mean time, we solicit your prayers on behalf of the families during this time of pain, and for the entire conference family.
