New Port Richey, Fla., Adventist Christian Academy students recently performed a premier concert for church members on the two-octave set of tone chimes gifted to the school from the Committee of 100.
The Committee of 100 was established one year ago as an independent committee and is dedicated to the growth and outreach of the church, academy, and day care. Committee projects are supported by a donation of $100 twice a year, and members also participate by voting approval for special projects, recruiting new members, and attending spring and fall banquets. During their most recent banquet in November, the Board of Directors announced that the Committee of 100 had 55 members. The Committee welcomes church members and families of academy and day care students to submit project proposals for consideration.
In addition to the purchase of the chimes for the academy, the Committee recently provided funding for 100 New King James Bibles for church use.
