 The Florida Conference Sports Ministries is dedicated to bringing Adventist and non-Adventist together to share and to teach the gospel and to seek impact eternity and grow God’s kingdom through the platform of sports in its different forms (tournaments, volleyball, tennis, track and field, softball, baseball and basketball ).  New believers are then entrusted into the care of the local church.  All teams will be guided by a team Chaplin to submit a report each month letting us know what ministry they are doing in the community as a team.

Aim:      To foster physical and social well-being and to witness to former Adventist and non-Adventists.

Goal:     To have 30 former/non-Adventists take up Bible studies per year.

The deadline to turn in your registration, rosters forms and fees are due September 14, 2015.  Late fees will incur after this date.   The cost is $230 per team (after September 14th), $260 if late. Registration, minor’s release forms, and labeled ID photos are due by September 14, 2015. 

Each Team has 10 players.

Fee for additional players (with a max of 5 additional players/teams) is $23/player, $26 if late.

NO IOU’S, TEAMS CAN NOT PAY DURING OR AFTER THE SEASON.

Please start organizing your teams now.  You do not have to look for teams/ churches to play against.
The Sports Council will make the schedules and assign teams for you to play against.  Each team can have up to 4 non Adventist on their team.  However they must attend your church or be engage in Bible study.

Players under 18,  your parents/guardians must sign and fill out your minor consent form and have it signed by a state notary before you can play in any of our schedule games.

Please email your Basketball/Dodgeball forms to Jonathan Swan at  floridasports2012@yahoo.com.  All required forms must be submitted for teams to play.

Please send your payments to Aimee Layson, Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, 351 S. State Rd 434, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.  All forms are needed, send in your check(s) or money orders to the address above.  In the memo line on your check, please put basketball/Dodgeball league.

Fees are not refundable nor transferable.

   Men’s League

   Youth – Up to 13    Varsity – Up to 18    Adult – 19 and above

   Woman’s League

   Youth – Up to 13    Varsity – Up to 18    Ages – 19 and above

  There will also be co-ed teams.

DODGEBALL REGULATIONS

The season 2015-2016 starts on October 3, 2015 and will end March 31, 2016.

Team for Dodgeball divisions are:

Registration Fee: $75 per team (due September 14th), $100 if late.
Each team has 7 players.
Fee for additional players (with a max of 8 additional players/team) is $15/player, $18 if late. 
Maximum of 15 players per team, with 5 players playing at one time. 
Fees include entry to the finals and insurance coverage.

Registration, rosters, forms and fees are due on September 14, 2015.  Late fees will incur after this date. Registration, minor’s release forms, and labeled ID photos are due by September 14, 2015. 
Fees are not refundable not transferable. 
All required forms must be submitted for teams to play.
