Rhoda Burrill is the Director of Children and Family Ministries for the Florida Conference. Rhoda has been the Director of Children’s and Family Ministries since 2003. Her background has been in Pediatric nursing. She has worked in Children’s Ministries in her churches since she was a sophomore in High School. Her passion is to see our children in heaven.

Rhoda is married to Ken Burrill, Vice-President for Pastoral Ministries. They have four children and five grandchildren.

George Carrazana is the Financial Comptroller for School Finances for the Florida Conference school system. Prior to joining the Office of Education, George was the business manager at Forest Lake Education Center for 12 years. With over 18 years of experience within our educational system, he adds a vast amount of knowledge in management, finance, and investments.

He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a degree in Long-Term Health Care Administration from Southern Adventist University. He has a passion for helping people and his greatest desire is to see schools be financially successful.

Dr. Sandra Doran joined the Florida Conference Office family in July of 2002, when she took the position of Associate Superintendent of Education for Curriculum. Currently, she works with teachers in grades 5-8, and does the publicity for the office. Sandra holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and English from Atlantic Union College, a master’s degree in religion from Andrews University, and a doctorate in special education from Boston University. She has taught on every level from pre-school through college, and has published four books and hundreds of articles. She enjoys training teachers in Florida and across North America.

Mayra Rodriguez has worked with children and their families for over 30 years, in both the public school and the Seventh-day Adventist educational systems. She has been a teacher, school principal, and is now a school psychologist and Associate Superintendent of Education in the Florida Conference. She holds an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, and a post graduate Educational Specialist degree in school psychology from the University of Central Florida.

She currently provides psychological services to students and families referred by education personnel, as well as consultation services to teachers regarding student placement and special needs students. Additionally, she supervises teachers in grades 1-4.

Pedro Perez is the Director for Pathfinder, Adventurer and Youth Ministries Department. Pedro has served 10 years as a youth pastor in the Michigan Conference. He has also been a Bible teacher at Great Lakes Adventist Academy. Pedro served for 4 years as the Youth Director of the Southern New England Conference before accepting the call to the work in the Florida Conference office in 2010.
