WORSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP BEYOND YOUR LOCAL CHURCH

Worship, fellowship, and nurture are essential for a growing, healthy Christian life. In addition to providing funding, support personnel, and other resources to bolster many areas of your local church, Florida Conference organizes and fully or partially funds area and statewide events for all ages. These complement local church life by bringing members into a larger social and spiritual experience.

Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown. —Luke 8:8
  • Annual Conference-wide Camp Meetings. [Camp Meetings are annual spiritual convocations. The English-language Camp Meeting is held in Apopka, northwest of Orlando, and uplinked live via satellite to all Conference churches. Spanish-language Camp Meeting alternates between Miami and Orlando.]
  • Area-wide Camp Meetings/Convocations.
  • Conference-wide and area youth and young adult events and rallies.
  • Conference-wide and area Pathfinder events. [The Adventurer (Pre K-grade 4), eTracker (grades 5-8), Varsity (grades 9-12), and Master Guide (age 18+) Clubs are similar to Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America. They offer Christian fun, fellowship, learning, and leadership skills.]
  • Women's and men's conventions.
  • Marriage and family enrichment programs, including singles' ministry.
  • Workshops and seminars designed to help pastors, lay leaders, and church members in their spiritual and personal lives and leadership roles.

Watch your local church bulletin and the Florida Focus calendar of events for schedules in your area.

They shall be like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream. It shall not fear when heat comes, and its leaves shall stay green… —Jeremiah 17:8
