Working together
RESPONSIBILITIES
Being part of a family includes responsibilities as well as privileges, and each member is encouraged to accept the following challenges:
- Practice authentic Christianity.
- Participate in corporate worship.
- Become involved in the life of your congregation.
- Return a faithful tithe. (Tithe is the 10 percent of income which God asks His followers to return to Him. See Malachi 3:10-11.)
- Give offerings for the local and worldwide Church.
- Discover and use your spiritual gifts.
- Pray for and encourage your fellow church members.
- Share with others what Christ means to you.
- Support the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. (See Mission, Vision, and Values.)
